Detailed Tour Itinerary:-
Day 01: Delhi – Udaipur Arrival
Once you reach the Udaipur airport / Railway station, on arrival at Udaipur you will meet a tour representative who will take you to the hotel, check in to the hotel and have rest for some time, later proceed for half day city sightseeing of Udaipur and visit to the City Palace, followed by evening sunset boat ride at lake Pichhola, after sightseeing back to the hotel. Evening you may choose to visit to the Baghore-ki- haveli for puppet show (Rajasthani folk dances and music) (dinner near lake side restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Udaipur
After breakfast, you will be a taken Udaipur country side area cycling tour led by an English speaking cycling guide and instructor. The tour start from your hotel with passing the hustle & bustle in Udaipur?s city center. After 20 minutes we reach the beautiful rural country side. As you cycle along you will get a nice a nice view of Monsoon palace. This is a palatial residence high in the aravali hills outside. Continue cycling, swerving to unthreaded nooks and corners through the beautiful rural countryside and absorbing this historic capital of Mewar at your own pace. A colorful landscape unfolds here with brightly clothed village women. Here you can see a typical hamlet of Rajasthan with people busy with farming. We get to discover kingfisher, langoors, cows, goats, peacocks along the way and a chance to take a refreshing ride Badi Lake. (Also known as Tiger Lake) water is supplied for drinking to nearby villages and Udaipur city from this lake. We then proceed to Badi village where we will have some light refreshments, after that we pass by the fateh sagar Lake: another Men made lake. At the end of bike tour you will be dropped back to the hotel for freshen -up and check out later proceed for Ghanerao. En route visit the famous Jain Temple which is a UNESCO world heritage site and the most beautiful and incredible temple you would ever see, this temple was build in white marble in the 15th century to honor Adinath, the first Tirthankar of the present half-cycle (avasarpi??) according to Jain cosmology,, lunch at Ranakpur, after lunch straight drive to the Ghanerao. Dinner and over at hotel.
Day 03: Ghanerao – Sumer (Deshuri Trek) Approx 12 Km
Today after breakfast we will begin our trek from the forest rest house itself, the terrain would be flat mostly with few gentle uphill, we will walk in the sanctuary area which would be very refreshing and a great variety of wildlife can be seen if lucky, we will also pass through some human settlements where we see the local life and culture. Picnic lunch will be served under the tree shadow, after finishing the trek we will drive to the Sumer forest rest house. Dinner will be cooked by local Chef with basic amenities and stay in mountain tents.
Day 04: Sumer - Sansari (Mayli – mata trek) Approx 13 Kms
Today morning we will take a short drive to the starting point of the trek and Get ready to experience the high voltage of excitement because the trek, would be bit challenging, on the way there are many tribal villages of the Bhil and Rawat (Name of local cast) tribes which is one of the oldest indigenous tribes found around this region, we will begin our trekking from base camp with your trekking guide. After the brief discussion we will head toward the Mayli – mata which is around 14km trek both ways. After 4 km one way (approximately) and this is expected to take 1-2 hours, on the halfway we will take a short break and refreshment. After refreshment continue trekking to mayli mata temple followed by the beautiful mountains, landscape and farms, with the beautiful trees shadow and very good sighting of rare species of birds. You can experience the adventure of trekking downhill of famous mountain range of aravali names as Banshore ki naal (Local name). Towards the Mayli mata Temple which is around 3 km trekking. We will have stopped here, this is the mayli- mata temple dedicated to the goddess Chamunda. Picnic lunch at under the tree at near the temple, we get to discover kingfisher, langoors, and many spices of birds and peacocks along the way, after finishing the trek we will drive to the sansari. On arrival Traditional Welcome ceremony which includes aarti, tilak ceremony, and heartwarming welcome songs sung by local women. After check- in formalities, you will be led to your tent, later proceed village walk tour led by an English speaking guide and instructor. The tour starts from your camp with passing through the beautiful rural country side. Swerving to unthreaded nooks and corners through the beautiful rural countryside and absorbing this historic village of Marwar at your own pace. A colorful landscape unfolds here with brightly clothed village women. Here you can see a typical hamlet of Rajasthan with people busy with farming. The camel herding Rabaris (Sheepherders), are an ethnic group only to be found around Sansari and you will walk to their homesteads. It would be a memorable experience and educational at the same time to walk in their hamlets and get to know their life style and culture. We get to discover cows, goats, peacocks along the way. Overnight in mountain tents.
Day 05: Sansari – Bhagtpura (local School visit Cycling Rural Train Ride)
Following breakfast and drive to you embark upon a unique experience – 25-30 km cycling and then after 35 km train ride between two villages. You will go native today, and travel with the villagers through exceedingly fascinating countryside and landscapes, packed lunch at the train station, after train ride continue cycling to the camp. Upon arrival checking in at Rustic adventure farm camp sansari.
Day 06: Shuttle to your onward journey
On the last day of tour check out from camp and driven to the Jodhpur / Udaipur airport for a flight to your onward journey. Our tour guides and representatives will wish you adieu and good luck for your onward journey; the tour will come to an end here. .
