1) GHANERAO KUMBHALGARH RANAKPUR WALK
Day 1: Udaipur-Ghanerao (3 hours drive)
Today take a drive to Ghanerao, on arrival we will get ourselves checked-in at Ghanerao Jungle Lodge which was once a hunting Lodge of the erstwhile nobles of this area and now converted into a hotel. Later have lunch. After lunchtime at leisure, in the evening we will take a walk in the nearby Garasiya Tribal village where we explore this village and get to know the local life and culture, hi-tea during the village visit at a well-chosen spot, later drive back to our hotel.
Dinner & Overnight at Hotel.
Day 2: Ghanerao – Kumbhalgarh Trek (14 Kms Approx)
After breakfast we start our trek from the hotel, the terrain would be a blend of uphill and downhill and in the end as we come close to the fort it would be an uphill climb but quite enjoyable as we will do our trekking in the sanctuary area where the environment is so calm and peaceful with greenery all around, also if lucky we might spot some good wildlife here, we will stop at the crocodile lake to see the crocs, this lake in the local language is called “Thandi Beri”.
There is also a tribal village in the sanctuary area where reside the “Bhil” tribe and passing through it would be an amazing experience.
Later we finish our trek close to the Kumbhalgarh fort which is a UNESCO world heritage site and claimed to have the 2nd largest fortified wall in the world, we will spend an hour or two at the fort and then we will have lunch at a local restaurant after which we will drive back to our hotel.

Day 3: Ghanerao - Ranakpur Trek 18 Kms Approx
Today after an early breakfast we will start the trek from Muchala Mahaveer Temple which is close to the hotel, this trek will pass through forest reserve where we will get a good chance to see plenty of colorful bird species and other wild animals like wild hogs, antelopes, black faced monkeys etc. We will finish our trek at Ranakpur where we visit the Ranakpur Jain Temple which is a UNESCO world heritage site and the most beautiful and incredible temple you would ever see, this temple was build in white marble in the 15th century to honor Adinath, the first Tirthankar of the present half-cycle (avasarpi??) according to Jain cosmology, after Temple visit lunch at a local restaurant and then drive to onward destination. .
